About Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre

Moholoholo (pronounced "mo-ho-lo-ho-lo" meaning "very big" in Sepedi) is a world-renowned wildlife rehabilitation centre dedicated to caring for injured, poisoned, and orphaned animals from across South Africa. Founded in 1991, the centre has successfully rehabilitated and released thousands of animals back into the wild.

Located just 20 km from Hoedspruit on the Panorama Route, Moholoholo offers educational guided tours where you'll meet rescued animals, learn about conservation challenges facing African wildlife, and understand the crucial work being done to protect endangered species.

Vultures & Birds of Prey
